Utilisant le style de la métaphore, cette méditation voudrait cerner l'intuition originelle du paradigme postcolonial. Au-delà de tout apologétisme, le but est de poser les jalons d'une pensée débarassée du fardeau de l'historicisme. Le postcolonialisme a légitimement dit ce qu'il avait à dire. Sa critique, quoique pertinente, montre désormais ses limites. Explorer de nouveaux chemins de la connaissance, voila le role de la pensée à venir.
