Die von Jens Timmermann besorgte Neuausgabe innerhalb der Philosophischen Bibliothek bietet den vollständigen Wortlaut der beiden Originalausgaben von 1781 und 1787. Der Kantische Text wurde unter Wahrung der Interpunktion und sprachlicher Eigenheiten sehr behutsam an die heutigen orthographischen Regeln angeglichen. Die semantisch bedeutenden Korrekturvorschläge späterer Herausgeber (nicht nur der Akademie-Ausgabe) sind, wo sie nicht in den Text Aufnahme gefunden haben, am Fuß der Seite verzeichnet. Alle wesentlichen Unterschiede zwischen den Originalausgaben sind durch Kursivdruck hervorgehoben, größere Abweichungen ganzer Textstücke - etwa (...) in der Einleitung und im Kapitel über Phaenomena und Noumena - wurden synoptisch gegenübergestellt, so daß Art und Umfang der Umarbeitung unmittelbar abgelesen werden können. Die durchgängig neu bearbeitete Studienausgabe folgt in den Grundprinzipien der seit 1926 in Forschung und Lehre maßgeblichen Ausgabe von Raymund Schmidt, die hiermit abgelöst wird. Sie wird ergänzt durch eine umfangreiche Bibliographie von Heiner Klemme sowie durch einen ausführlichen Personen- und Sachindex. (shrink)

Sobre esta edição A terceira edição de A Semântica transcendental de Kant (Campinas, CLE, 2005) encontra-se esgotada há vários anos. Este fato recomenda a sua reedição, tendo em vista o interesse que as edições anteriores suscitaram na comunidade kantiana brasileira. Desde a primeira edição em 2000, dediquei numerosos artigos e resenhas – publicados nas revistas Analytica, Cadernos de História e Filosofia da Ciência, Manuscrito, O que nos faz pensar e Studia Kantiana, entre outras – foram dedicados à apresentação e divulgação (...) de pesquisas, bem como aos debates, sobre o lugar da semântica transcendental na obra de Kant. Sobre a coleção Zeljko Loparic: Obras Reunidas A idade pede que se olhe para o passado, o caminho percorrido e as realizações. Minhas Obras reunidas são uma tentativa de fazer tal balanço. Elas conterão a totalidade de minha produção intelectual no campo da filosofia publicada entre 1975 e 2022. Os trabalhos serão agrupados em seis partes temáticas e ordenados cronologicamente, seguindo as principais linhas de desenvolvimento da minha compreensão das perguntas filosóficas ao longo dos anos. Uma sétima parte conterá traduções de minha produção para outras línguas. Os volumes de cada parte terão títulos refletindo sua fonte de inspiração ou seu conteúdo, o que será esboçado em prefácios. O presente artigo tem por objetivo demonstrar o lugar próprio do sentimento moral [das moralische Gefühl] na filosofia prática de Kant. Sentimento moral e respeito pela lei são equivalentes, sendo, esse respeito, o único e autêntico motivo moral sem, contudo, referir-se a um objeto empírico. Assim, o respeito é o efeito da lei moral produzido em nossa sensibilidade moral, sem a qual o conceito de dever seria inviável. Uma ação por respeito à lei possui valor moral porque a lei torna-se (...) o motivo do agir. Isso também pode ser chamado de interesse prático, ou seja, é a possibilidade de efetivação da lei. Sem interesse prático (ou sem sentimento moral), não teríamos ações por dever, mas, por conseguinte, mera legalidade. (shrink)

This paper aims to study the concept of “fact of reason”, with the assistance Beck as North on the stage of transcendental philosophy, more specifically its basic Kantian approach, continuing to explore the potential of the above since the contributions of Guido de Almeida and Loparic.

Este artigo tem por objetivo examinar uma tensão existente no interior da teoria kantiana do respeito pela lei moral. Originalmente, na Fundamentação, o respeito é concebido por Kant como um mero efeito ou subproduto da imediata determinação da vontade pela lei moral. Na segunda Crítica, contudo, Kant parece conceder um papel mais positivo ao respeito, dando a ele a tarefa de enfraquecer a influência exercida pelas inclinações, o que contaria como uma promoção da influência da lei moral sobre a vontade. (...) Buscaremos mostrar que essa alteração na teoria kantiana do respeito é inteiramente devida a uma concessão a um difundido modelo de determinação da vontade que é de inspiração humiana. Além disso, buscaremos mostrar que esse modelo humiano tem de ser completamente abandonado, porque ele se choca tanto com a concepção refletida de Kant sobre motivação moral quanto com sua concepção refletida sobre a determinação da vontade pelas inclinações. One of the crucial problems of transcendental-critical philosophy is the foundation of the relation between the a priori principles of pure reason and its ensuing applicability through human dispositions and faculties, which necessarily envolve psychological-empirical features. We thus intend to investigate Kant’s reasoning on the a priori connection between consciousness of moral obligation, which is acknowledged through the only a priori fact of reason, and the moral dispositions, which, as we read in the Metaphysics of Morals, are the following: respect, (...) love of human beings, moral sentiment and consciousness. Having in mind that the foundation of the principle of morality is not enough to show that and how it becomes effective in human praxis, this paper aims at analyzing the degree to which Kant succeeded in the tasks of showing what are the conditions of possibility for the actualization of the consciousness of morality, as well as justifying the internal coherence of his plan for practical-moral philosophy. Um dos problemas mais obscuros nas éticas universalistas, de modo geral, e na ética kantiana, de modo particular consiste na justificação de um princípio válido objetivamente a partir da articulação entre a questão da epistemologia e da motivação moral. A partir disso, nosso propósito neste paper consiste em tentar elucidar de que modo o sentimento de respeito conecta figuras como a razão prática, valor moral e autonomia, tanto de uma perspectiva histórica como hermenêutica dos textos kantianos.

A ideia de que juízos de valor são subjetivos, sem garantias teóricas objetivas ou impossíveis de serem objeto de uma justificação racional, não é assunto novo, não apenas no ambiente filosófico, mas também no senso comum. Contra esta posição, pretendemos argumentar que não só é possível, mas que a justificação racional dos valores e regras morais é necessária e que um possível fio condutor para tal tarefa consiste no insight kantiano a partir do princípio de universalização.
