Image captioning has seen remarkable advancements with the integration of deep learning techniques, notably Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) networks, for generating descriptive captions for images. Despite these improvements, capturing intricate details and context remains a challenge. This project introduces an enhanced image captioning model that integrates transformers with an attention mechanism to address these limitations. By leveraging CNNs for feature extraction and LSTMs for sequence generation, while utilizing transformers to apply sophisticated attention to significant image (...)

Abstract. The chemical and petrochemical industries are vital to the global economy, yet they face significant challenges in strategic decision-making due to fragmented, inconsistent, and outdated data. Existing Methods Existing methods for data collection and analysis in the chemical and petrochemical industries often involve using fragmented datasets from individual sources like industry reports, regulatory filings, and market research. These methods typically lack integration, leading to inconsistencies and gaps in the data. Proposed Solution It involves systematic data collection, cleansing, and integration (...)

Nyaay Samvidhan is a platform designed to enhance the understanding of the Indian Constitution and empower citizens by providing easy access to their rights. The primary purpose of this research is to develop an interactive, userfriendly platform that facilitates constitutional literacy among a diverse population in India. The methodology employed involves integrating a chatbot that guides users through their rights and offers direct access to the original texts of the Constitution. Additionally, the platform incorporates story-based learning pathways tailored to various (...)

Fake Social Media Profile Detection and Reporting System.Sreehari Ch - 2024 - International Journal of Engineering Innovations and Management Strategies 1 (7):1-15.
The rise of social media has brought with it a significant increase in fake profiles, which are used for malicious activities like spamming, impersonation, and spreading misinformation. Existing detection methods, which rely on manual reporting and basic automated systems, are often insufficient in identifying these sophisticated fake accounts. To address this challenge, we propose the development of an AI-driven software application designed to automatically detect and report fake social media profiles. By analyzing user behavior, content patterns, and metadata, the system (...)

The English Synopsis is after the text of the book. The book presents an original and generalizing substantive vision of the philosophy of science through the prism of a detailed analysis of the polysystem structure of scientific theories. Theories are considered, firstly, as complex specialized forms of developed scientific thinking about the realities studied by natural science, secondly, as constantly improving tools for producing new knowledge in interaction with experimental research, and thirdly, as carriers of ordered and verified knowledge. Emphasis (...)

As we have seen in the transition form Part I to Part II of this book, the inductive riskiness of doxastic methods applied in testimonial uptake or prescribed as exemplary of religious faith, helpfully operationalizes the broader social scientific, philosophical, moral, and theological interest that people may have with problems of religious luck. Accordingly, we will now speak less about luck, but more about the manner in which highly risky cognitive strategies are correlated with psychological studies of bias studies and (...)

This chapter sharpens the book’s criticism of exclusivist responsible to religious multiplicity, firstly through close critical attention to arguments which religious exclusivists provide, and secondly through the introduction of several new, formal arguments / dilemmas. Self-described ‘post-liberals’ like Paul Griffiths bid philosophers to accept exclusivist attitudes and beliefs as just one among other aspects of religious identity. They bid us to normalize the discourse Griffiths refers to as “polemical apologetics,” and to view its acceptance as the only viable form of (...)

This item is a chapter from a book in progress, entitled "True Motion". Leibniz’s mechanics was, as we shall see, a theory of elastic collisions, not formulated like Huygens’ in terms of rules explicitly covering every possible combination of relative masses and velocities, but in terms of three conservation principles, including (effectively) the conservation of momentum and kinetic energy. That is, he proposed what we now call (ironically enough) ‘Newtonian’ (or ‘classical’) elastic collision theory. While such a theory is, for (...)

This paper deals with the concept of religiousness and religion in the context of Krause´s panentheist metaphysics, understood as a life of union, as intimacy of and with God, particularly on the part of human beings and also in relation to the rest of the existing. An evolutionary review of this conception of religion is undertaken throughout Krause´s work, and the program of a philosophy of religion is traced, which, besides a metaphysical and anthropological substantiation, would address an understanding of (...)

It replaces my earlier (2008) weighing account. It is part of _The true and the good: a new theory of theoretical reason_, which develops a view, welfarist pluralism, which comprises central two theses. One is that there are both irreducibly alethic or epistemic reasons for belief and (...)

Faced with political opponents, proponents of climate justice should consider how politically feasible different principles of climate justice are. I focus in this chapter on the political feasibility of an “ability to pay principle” as a proposal for dividing the burdens of past emissions and emissions from the global poor. I argue that a formulation of an ability to pay principle with a voluntarist scope, restricted only to agreed upon collective goals, is significantly more politically feasible than one with a (...)

The paper continues the consideration of Hilbert mathematics to mathematics itself as an additional “dimension” allowing for the most difficult and fundamental problems to be attacked in a new general and universal way shareable between all of them. That dimension consists in the parameter of the “distance between finiteness and infinity”, particularly able to interpret standard mathematics as a particular case, the basis of which are arithmetic, set theory and propositional logic: that is as a special “flat” case of Hilbert (...)

That isomorphism can be interpreted physically as the invariance between a reference frame within a system and its unambiguous counterpart out of the system. Argumentation theory underwent a significant development in the Fifties and Sixties: its revival is usually connected to Perelman's criticism of formal logic and the development of informal logic. 47. What is Absolute Undecidability?†.Justin Clarke-Doane - 2012 - Noûs 47 (3):467-481.
It is often supposed that, unlike typical axioms of mathematics, the Continuum Hypothesis (CH) is indeterminate. This position is normally defended on the ground that the CH is undecidable in a way that typical axioms are not. Call this kind of undecidability “absolute undecidability”. In this paper, I seek to understand what absolute undecidability could be such that one might hope to establish that (a) CH is absolutely undecidable, (b) typical axioms are not absolutely undecidable, and (c) if a mathematical (...)

  48. A probabilistic framework for analysing the compositionality of conceptual combinations.Peter Bruza, Kirsty Kitto, Brentyn Ramm & Laurianne Sitbon - 2015 - Journal of Mathematical Psychology 67:26-38.
Conceptual combination performs a fundamental role in creating the broad range of compound phrases utilised in everyday language. This article provides a novel probabilistic framework for assessing whether the semantics of conceptual combinations are compositional, and so can be considered as a function of the semantics of the constituent concepts, or not. While the systematicity and productivity of language provide a strong argument in favor of assuming compositionality, this very assumption is still regularly questioned in both cognitive science and philosophy. (...)

  49. Is Stalnaker's Semantics Complete?Alexander W. Kocurek - forthcoming - Erkenntnis:1-9.
It is shown that one common formulation of Stalnaker's semantics for conditionals is incomplete: it has no sound and (strongly) complete proof system. At first, this seems to conflict with well-known completeness results for this semantics (e.g., Stalnaker and Thomason 1967; Stalnaker 1970 and Lewis 1973, ch. 6). As it turns out, it does not: these completeness results rely on another closely-related formulation of the semantics that is provably complete. Specifically, the difference comes down to how the Limit Assumption is (...)
