    Using a time-lagged design, we tested the main effects of Islamic Work Ethic (IWE) and perceived organizational justice on turnover intentions, job satisfaction, and job involvement.     This article performs a Lacanian and philosophical re-reading of Weber’s thesis on the structural affinity between Calvinism and early capitalism. My discussion of the emergence of the capitalist subject is framed in the temporality of predestination.
