    This paper presents two challenges faced by many initiatives that try to diversify undergraduate philosophy curricula, both intellectually and demographically. Trade-offs involve making difficult decisions to prioritise some values over others (like gender diversity over cultural diversity).     I describe two prejudices that can obstruct efforts to diversify philosophical curricula that I call neophilia and xenophilia.
